Except for some key projects, most solar street light lighting projects for roads are completed in a rush during a period before and after the main road construction is finished. However, with the improvement of economic development levels, solar road lighting has become an integral part of beautifying urban landscapes. Therefore, to ensure the solar street light project, suppliers and installers of street light equipment should actively intervene in the solar road lighting project in advance, paying attention to the following points during the installation of street lights:

Fully understand the characteristics of solar street light fixtures, light sources, and lamp poles. Based on practical road conditions and reference lighting standards, combined with investment budgets, reasonably select solar fixtures, light sources, and lamp poles to fully utilize the high efficiency and energy-saving features of the light source, as well as the advantages of the distribution of solar fixtures and accessory combinations.
Under the condition of ensuring lighting performance, appropriately increase the spacing between solar street light fixtures to save on the number of fixtures; appropriately raise the height of solar street light poles to improve lighting effects; and wherever possible, place poles in the center separation zone of the road to save on project costs.
In conjunction with road engineering, timely intervene in pole position selection, foundation construction, and embedding to promptly identify issues, make reasonable adjustments, ensure quality, and save on investment.
Based on the actual conditions of the solar street light project site and geological conditions, design and construct foundations for solar street light poles and high pole lights to ensure that the foundations are solid and reliable. Special attention should be paid to matching embedded bolts with reserved holes in the pole base accurately, ensuring reasonable lengths for embedding and external retention, and properly protecting threaded parts for easy hoisting and positioning.
In rocky or weathered stone areas, dispersed grounding and segmented grounding may not meet requirements. It may be considered to connect galvanized flat steel or other conductors as per design requirements continuously; connections should be secure while also being appropriately protected. Additionally, they should be reliably connected with embedded foundations to ensure each lamp pole is securely connected to the ground. The high pole lights in solar street lights are more dispersed and mainly rely on foundation grounding; if necessary, grounding agents should be used to reduce grounding resistance.
