First, when we see that the solar street light is not working properly, the first thing to do is to check whether the controller is faulty. This is a common cause of malfunction. If this is the case, you just need to reset the solar panel.
In addition, it may also be caused by weather conditions. Many rural areas generally experience overcast and rainy weather that lasts about two days. The lights need to be charged for five to seven hours each day to ensure normal operation. If our charging is normal, then everyone should check whether the battery is aging. If it is aging, it must be replaced as soon as possible.
Secondly, many people do not know that solar street lights require regular maintenance. If we do not perform regular maintenance, they are more likely to malfunction. Pouring foundation
1. Determine the installation position of the street light: According to the construction drawings and on-site geological survey, the installation position of the street light should be determined based on a spacing of 20-60m between lights; otherwise, adjustments should be made accordingly.
2. Digging the foundation pit for the street light: Based on the height and width of the foundation cage, dig a foundation pit at the fixed installation position of the street light. The pit should be slightly wider than the width of the cage. If the topsoil is soft, deepen the excavation and confirm and protect other buried facilities (such as cables and pipes).
3. Pouring the foundation cage for the street light: When digging the pit, place the foundation cage into it and keep its screws exposed above ground level. Then pour in embedded parts and fix them with concrete. To ensure that all embedded parts are solidly compacted, continuously mix evenly during pouring.
4. Clean up debris from the positioning plate in a timely manner until the concrete has completely set (approximately 7-10 days; if weather permits, about 4-5 days).
Installation of solar street light components
1. Pass the wires of the LED lamp holder through the center at the top of the lamp pole arm, then secure it with screws.
2. Fix the solar panel onto the socket bracket with screws; after adjusting the light angle, secure the socket bracket onto the top of the lamp pole with screws.
3. Connect the wires from the LED lamp holder to the positive and negative wires of the solar panel.
Install the solar street light onto the foundation cage.
1. Clean up any debris on the foundation.
2. Stand together with solar street lights, install screws aligning flanges with grounding cages; if conditions permit, it is recommended to use a crane as much as possible to screw in the lights onto screws in grounding cages.
