Landscape lighting, also known as decorative lighting, has a distinct decorative and design sense, usually requiring personalization, energy efficiency, and reflection of cultural characteristics. How can landscape lighting design achieve these functions? Suo's lighting design believes that the following aspects should be emphasized:
1. Function: The areas that need to be illuminated should be bright, including road signs, corners, roads, obstacles, and important landscapes; ensuring safety in use, avoiding high-temperature contact, hindering movement, misleading pedestrian flow, and risks such as falling fixtures.
2. By using methods such as plant concealment, hidden light troughs, low-position coverings, integration into structures, submersion in water, or mimetic designs to hide fixtures while allowing light to shine through, creating unique lighting effects like floating lights, silhouettes, and paintings; combining light with sculptures, installation art, graffiti art, stage art, terrain, etc., to create novel and imaginative sensory experiences.
