Zhengzhou solar street lights use crystalline silicon solar cells for power supply, maintenance-free valve-controlled sealed batteries (gel batteries) for energy storage, ultra-bright LED lamps as the light source, and are controlled by intelligent charge and discharge controllers, replacing traditional public electric lighting street lights.

Zhengzhou solar street lights do not require cable laying, AC power supply, or incur electricity costs; they use DC power supply and control; they have good stability, long lifespan, high luminous efficiency, easy installation and maintenance, high safety performance, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, economical and practical advantages. The product components include lamp pole structure: steel lamp pole and bracket with surface spray treatment; the connection of the battery panel uses special anti-theft stainless steel screws.
The Zhengzhou solar street light system can ensure normal operation for more than 15 days in rainy weather! Its system consists of several parts including LED light source (including driver), solar panels, batteries (including battery insulation box), Zhengzhou solar street light controller, lamp pole (including foundation), and auxiliary wiring materials.
Solar battery components generally use monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar battery components; LED lamp heads generally use high-power LED light sources; controllers are usually placed inside the lamp pole and have functions such as light control, time control, overcharge and over-discharge protection, and reverse connection protection. More advanced controllers also have seasonal adjustment of lighting time function, half-power function, intelligent charge and discharge function, etc.; batteries are generally placed underground or in a special battery insulation box. Valve-controlled lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, iron-aluminum batteries or lithium batteries can be used. Solar lamps work fully automatically without the need for trenching wiring; however, the lamp pole needs to be installed on embedded parts (concrete base).
