Although LED courtyard lights are still three times more expensive than high-pressure sodium lamps, considering factors such as overall power consumption and maintenance costs, after two years of use, the total cost of LED courtyard lights is almost equal to that of high-pressure sodium lamps. Therefore, in the long term, the usage cost of LED courtyard lights will be better than that of high-pressure sodium lamps. Comparing a 6-meter LED courtyard light with a high-pressure sodium lamp, the power consumption of the high-pressure sodium lamp is about 250 watts, while the LED only requires 60 watts. In terms of lifespan, the average lifespan of a high-pressure sodium lamp is about 4,000 hours, but LEDs can last up to 50,000 hours. As the price of LED courtyard lights continues to decline, their competitive advantage will become increasingly apparent.
LED courtyard lights are mainly composed of five major components: 1. LED lighting system: The LED light source system includes heat dissipation, light distribution, and LED modules.
2. Lamp body: The lamp body is equipped with an LED lighting system. For wiring, take 1.0mm red and black copper core multi-strand wire, cut six segments of 40mm each, strip both ends by 5mm, and tin them. For lamp board leads, take a YC2X1.0mm two-core wire, cut a segment of 700mm, strip the inner end by 60mm, tin the brown wire by stripping it by 5mm; tin the blue wire by stripping it by 5mm. Strip the outer end by 80mm; strip the brown wire by 20mm; strip the blue wire by 20mm.
3. Lamp pole: The main materials for LED courtyard lamp poles include: equal-diameter steel pipes, irregular steel pipes, equal-diameter aluminum pipes, cast aluminum lamp poles, and aluminum alloy lamp poles. Common diameters include Φ60, Φ76, Φ89, Φ100, Φ114, Φ140, and Φ165. Depending on height and usage location, material thickness is divided into: wall thickness of 2.5mm, wall thickness of 3.0mm, wall thickness of 3.5mm. (The above are standard sizes)
4. Flange plate and foundation embedded parts: The flange plate is an important component for installing the LED courtyard lamp pole to the ground. Installation method for LED courtyard lights: Before installing the LED courtyard light, it is necessary to use M16 or M20 (common specifications) screws to weld a foundation cage according to the standard flange plate size provided by the manufacturer. Then at the installation site, dig a pit of suitable size to place the foundation cage in it. After leveling it correctly, use cement concrete to pour and fix the foundation cage. After 3-7 days when the cement concrete has fully set, you can install the courtyard light. (Note: When pouring the foundation for the LED courtyard light, it is necessary to bring out the embedded pipelines).
