Due to the environmental impact of high pole lights, many users have reported that the service life of high pole lights does not meet expectations. In fact, to extend the service life of high pole lights, the daily maintenance work shared by the following high pole light manufacturers must not be neglected.

1. Check the hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion condition of all black metal components of the high pole lighting equipment (including the inner wall of the light pole) and whether the anti-loosening measures for fasteners meet the requirements.
2. Check the verticality of the high pole lighting equipment (measure and test regularly with a theodolite as required), with an allowable error at the top of the pole being less than 3‰ of the pole height. The straightness error of the light pole axis should not exceed 2‰ of the pole length.
3. Check for rust on the outer surface and welds of the light pole. For those that have been in service for a long time but cannot be replaced, ultrasonic or magnetic particle testing methods should be used to inspect and test the welds if necessary.
4. Check the mechanical strength of the lamp tray to ensure its use; for closed lamp trays, check their heat dissipation condition.
5. Check the fastening bolts of the lamp bracket and adjust the projection direction of the lamps reasonably.
6. Carefully check the condition of wires (soft cables or soft wires) inside the lamp tray to see if they are subjected to excessive mechanical stress, aging, cracking, or exposed wires; any unsafe conditions should be addressed immediately.
7. Replace and repair damaged light source electrical components and other parts.
8. Check the lifting transmission system:
(1) Check both manual and electric functions of the lifting transmission system, requiring that mechanisms operate flexibly, with stable lifting and reliable safety.
(2) The reduction mechanism should be flexible and simple, with reliable self-locking function. The gear ratio should be reasonable, and when electrically lifting the lamp tray, speed should not exceed 6m/min (can be measured with a stopwatch).
(3) Check for broken strands in stainless steel wire ropes; if found, replace them decisively.
(4) Check the braking motor; its speed should meet relevant design requirements and safety performance standards.
9. Check distribution and control equipment.
10. Inspect electrical safety performance; check insulation resistance between power supply lines and ground: it should not be less than 10MΩ.
11. Inspect protective grounding and lightning protection equipment.
12. Use a level to measure the flatness of the foundation panel; analyze uneven settlement conditions based on results from checking verticality of the light pole, and take appropriate measures.
13. Regularly conduct on-site measurements of the lighting effect of high pole lights.
