Introduction to Smart Street Lighting

Currently, there are smart street light project implementations in Bengbu City, Anhui Province, and Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. Among them, the smart street light project on Tushan Road in Bengbu City uses 163 smart lamp poles, which will provide valuable data and experience for the research and development of smart street lights after operation.

The Tushan Road smart street lighting is an important part of the smart city construction in Bengbu City. By applying advanced, efficient, and reliable power line carrier communication technology and wireless GPRS/CDMA communication technology, it achieves remote centralized control and management of street lights. The smart street lights have functions such as automatic brightness adjustment based on traffic flow, remote lighting control, proactive fault alarm, and anti-theft measures for lamp cables, which can significantly save electricity resources, improve public lighting management levels, and reduce maintenance costs.
